Fruit-Infused Water: 4 Energy Boosting Combos

If you are thinking about making your own fruit-infused water, why not consider combinations that can give you a good amount of energy … and taste good too!

Whether you choose to make your water by the jar, bottle or infusion pitcher, here are some fruit-infused water combos to consider when you want more energy during summer days (or all-year round):

Pineapple Mint Water

A really delicious water that will boost your energy is made from fresh pineapple and mint. This fruit combination uses both fruit and herbs, offering benefits like vitamin C and various other nutrients.

Pineapple should be cut into the smallest pieces possible prior to putting it in the pitcher. The refreshing flavor of the mint really brings out the sweet taste of the pineapple when you enjoy this water on a hot, summer day.

Orange Lemon Infused Water

Lemon - Orange

This is a very refreshing fruit-infused water that makes the perfect combination on a hot day. You get vitamins from both oranges and lemon. They give you nutrients like folate, vitamin C, and potassium.

For a large jar or small pitcher of water, you just need about 4 lemon slices and 3 orange slices. After slicing the fruit and adding it to the container, squeeze the end pieces into the pitcher to get a little more juice. Add ice and water, then chill.

Apple Cinnamon Infused Water

This water might seem like it would only be good in the fall or winter season, but it’s delicious year-round.  Even in the summer, you’ll still enjoy those delicious, juicy apples, which is the basis for this water.

Add some slices of your favorite apples along with some cinnamon, as the cinnamon helps to boost your metabolism and help burn fat. This will in turn increase your energy levels exceptionally well!

This is one infused water that gets more flavor when you leave it out in room temperature as opposed to putting it in the refrigerator, so keep that in mind.

Blueberry Strawberry Fruit-Infused Water

Blueberries & Strawberries

Lastly, try a delicious fruit combination of blueberries and strawberries! You will get all the antioxidants you need while drinking infused water.

These are sweet fruits, making your water taste similar to a bottled juice without any extra sugar or additives. Blueberries can be placed whole in the pitcher, or you can slice them in half to get a little more of the juice and flavor.

Slice up the strawberries thin to be placed in the pitcher. The rest of the instructions are the same as other fruit-infused waters.
